Maintenance Specialist

The Brainerd Housing & Redevelopment Authority (HRA) is seeking a full-time Maintenance Specialist. This position includes 3-Day Weekends as well as a great benefits package. The Maintenance Specialist is responsible for the direct maintenance, custodial work and repair of all HRA rental units, common areas, office areas, grounds and heating and mechanical plants.

Minimum Qualifications: • High School diploma or GED plus a minimum of two years’ experience in a position with similar job duties that meet the requirement to successfully accomplish the assigned duties and responsibilities as determined by the Executive Director. • Possession of a valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation. • Must have a MN Special Engineer boiler license or the ability to obtain it within 9 months of hire. • Must be available to handle emergency service calls on an on-call rotation that includes nights, weekends, and holidays. The hiring range for this position is $23 - $27 per hour DOQ.
