Maintenance Worker - Sioux City, Iowa Burger King

The Maintenance Person assists management in achieving and maintaining outstanding interior and exterior restaurant cleanliness while maintaining restaurant grounds and equipment. If you're motivated, enthusiastic, and have some working knowledge in electrical, HVAC, plumbing, building and grounds maintenance, we encourage you to apply!

Responsibilities:

• Installing, repairing, and maintaining restaurant grounds and equipment.
• Repairing broilers, fryers, product holding units and hoods.
• Installing and replacing equipment to include, but not limited to, menu boards, monitors, tv’s, restaurant equipment, and moving items from warehousing.
• Cleaning and beautification of the buildings and grounds.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

Requirements:

• Hours of work are typically 7am - 4pm, Monday-Friday
• However, the maintenance person must be flexible to work hours outside of the typical timeframe when necessary or asked to do so.
• Some working knowledge in electrical, HVAC and plumbing, grounds, and equipment maintenance.
• Physical stamina for standing, walking, bending, and lifting items.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
• Current driver’s license.
• References.
